Allie Clifton
Allie Clifton, a sports broadcaster at Spectrum Sports Net, is currently in her 5th year as a player for the Los Angeles Lakers. Allie Clifton is an Emmy award-winning sportscaster with over 10 year's expertise in sideline reporting as well as sports journalism. Additionally, she has participated in competitive basketball for more than 10 years. Allie worked as a sports reporter and reporter for feature stories at ABC Action News 13 (WTVG) while also serving as an analyst on the sidelines and in color at the Buckeye Cable Sports Network's high-school, collegiate and college volleyball, basketball and track and field. An Ohio citizen, Clifton graduated from The University of Toledo with an undergraduate degree in Sports Analysis and Communication, as well as an advanced Master's degree in Liberal Studies. The basketball star's success continued in UT following a highly successful high school career, including the school's very first league championship team. In 2010, she was captain of the team, which was part of the Mid-American Conference West Division, to claim the championship. Clifton has also played for The Q during her 4-year playing career.
