Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. She is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. The reviewer began her journey at the end of 2009 when she became famous on their forums. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. In early 2015 she was on the site when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that focus on the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also featured her. She has appeared on Brad Jones' show Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films as well as RiffTrax Live Shows aswell as occasional adult comedy (such as Baywatch 2017.). She began reviewing movies in late 2009, gaining recognition on channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially becoming a member of the network's family of reviewers. She has made numerous appearances throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous episodes of Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
