Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd started training in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent in the very first round. Then, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy with a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. In her second fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after some great exchanges with the fighters, was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. For a replacement last minute for her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously against her.
